Well, I know this movie has been in the works for a while, but I finally got my hands on some trailers – on LokiTorrent, one of the only torrent sites left after the recent legal barrage. (See, they do distribute legal stuff… ).

Anyway, this movie looks AMAZING. Takes place after FFVII the game (which I kinda want to play again now…). More info at AdventChildren.net. The animation looks… really really good. Screenshots and stuff are available at RPGamer. Check it out.

The most awful, horrible, terrible, suicide-inducing thing happened last night. Our drier died. Which in itself isn’t such a problem, however, it insisted on taking half my load of clothing with it in its death throes!!! Two of my favourite shirts, including my Kenshin shirt have now turned into rust-soiled, shredded rags… *sniff*. I’ll be traumatized for life!!!!

Now I really have to go shopping. Maybe I should bring along some female company as a fashion consultant. You think that would help me any, or am I beyond redemption? :)

In other news, we had some lectures on shaken babies (not stirred… har har. Ok, joke in poor taste) today. It’s appalling how oblivious some parents are to their children’s needs and dangers. Well, no matter what they show us now, I’m sure it won’t prepare us for what’s REALLY out there. :)

Ok, heading off to this Healthy Sexuality meeting today. It’s one of the only serious extra-curriculars I participate in, for sentimental reasons basically. The program has us visiting high schools and talking about safe sex etc. … I remember when I was in Grade 9 or 10 we had a couple of students come talk to us about it, so it’s just cool for me to be doing it for the next generation. :)

Well, I finally got a bit of a chance to relax this weekend… did some housecleaning on my hard drive. And in the physical world too. :) Although there are STILL mice in our house. Damned things just don’t know when to quit, we’ve caught 7 of them already…

Anyway, I was searching for some more Kenshin mangas and it seems everyone is using Bittorrent to distribute things nowdays, so I thought I’d check it out. It’s pretty spiffy, you get VERY fast download speeds if there are even a few people d/ling it along with you (cause you swap parts b/w each other, not overloading the server… hehe, cool implementation, that).

In other news, playing with 3D animation again. Not very successfully. :) Lol. Can’t wait for Half-Life 2 to come out, I checked out the E3 video on Gamespy and the game looks incredibly, incredibly amazing. Can’t wait to get my hands on that engine for some Machinima!!!

Well, gotta get some breakfast, head off to band… TTYL

Well, I still feel sick. But I can’t sleep at the moment, so I thought I’d write about what was occupying me a few days ago (before I knew I’d have all this time wasted with illness… in retrospect I should’ve been doing WORK but, meh, no big deal).
