Untitled (2001)

I suck at titles. So I didn’t give this one one.

Probably because of that reason, I honestly can’t remember who / what occasion I wrote it for. :( Oh well, I guess it speaks for itself. Yet another sappy poem.

Your vibrant spirit,
sheathed in nature’s finest beauty,
creates a being so enchanting,
with a smile sweeter than honey,
and eyes more inviting
than the crystal waters
of a cool mountain stream
on a fine summer’s day.
She, with her mere presence,
binds even the coldest of men
in her scintillating net.
Such joyous entrapment,
to be caught in that silken web,
and lose all earthly worries,
in the heavenly warmth
of your embrace.
