The Autism / MMR scare author faked his research…

February 09, 2009 By: DancingSamurai Category: Links

I’ve briefly written about Autism & MMR (etc.) before. Turns out Andrew Wakefield, who I believe is the only author who still stands behind the initial (already flimsy) paper about this, just made up (or incompetently didn’t investigate) a bunch of stuff in his study. As well as fake biopsy results. (Local cache: wakefield-falsified-mmr-data)

Surprised? You shouldn’t be. Orac and PZ have the low-down. There’s also a great write-up on the Science-Based Medicine blog.
