Amazing Medical CGI

July 18, 2007 By: DancingSamurai Category: Links

Fight for life is a cool-looking 6-part series. From the BBC site:

Fight for Life, a six-part series, uses computer-generated imagery and specially shot material to reveal the fight for survival from inside the human body.

Each episode focuses on a different life stage showing the dramatic story of how the human body changes from birth, through to adulthood and old age, and the way in which it reacts when its defences are threatened.

Unfortunately I’ve missed the first two parts… and don’t get this TV channel anyway. I emailed the BBC but currently there are no plans to re-air it; it may be released on DVD later this year. Of course, it’s not available for download (BBC is planning this feature for some unspecified date – which likely will be DRM-encumbered)

If anyone managed to record this show I’d love to get my hands on it…
