Quick Fix for Missing ‘Desktop’ Icon

September 08, 2006 By: DancingSamurai Category: My Life

Here are microsoft’s instructions on how to re-create a missing ‘Show Desktop’ icon in the QuickBar. I find I use this quite frequently (not so much on my home machine which has 2 monitors), since I keep lots of shortcuts on my desktop I like to access quickly (beats navigating throught he cumbersome start menu).

At work this icon has been removed by default, so I thought I’d re-create it.

Anyone else have a different setup for launching commonly-used applications?
