Ugh.. tired
Back from a long night on call. It’s really annoying when most of the day is dead, I mean boringly dead quiet… and then it gets all busy at the end.
Well, everything is relative. As clerks, we get shielded from stuff… usually we only see 1 patient per call shift (more on the weekend I suppose, if there are more).
At least I got a little bit of studying done.
Anywhoo, some reading… An Economist article on music/filesharing/the future, supposedly mentioning some industry insider research which suggests p2p isn’t responsible for their decline in sales… (you’ll need subscriber access to register, available through your uni library most likely. If you don’t go to Uni, well, tough…). Quoted by Michael Geist in a Star article about filesharing and the industry lobbies to get laws changed. The death throes of a giant…? we shall see…
Off to bed for me, back at TWH bright and early at 7 AM…
