Bah…
Well, I finished that psych OSCE today. It didn’t go so well.
I mean, the actual patient interviews were all right (except for this one scenario with the manic patient who was impossible to interrupt and get all the info from in 10-15 mins…). But the post-encounter probes that were kindof skipped over in review sessions killed me. *sigh*. That was a wonderful way to ruin my day, which is really too bad since the weather is actually spring-like and very very beautiful. Had a nice long walk earlier…
In other news… I finally got a few items from TigerDirect for my computer. A 128 MB USB key… I figure I should get with the times… my floppies can finally die a hellish death… ;)
Also a new chipset heatsink for my ASUS A8N-SLI Delux mobo. If anyone else is considering buying this motherboard, do yourselves a favour and buy an alternate chipset cooling solution. The one that comes with the motherboard is noisy and was dying on me by the second month.
Replaced it with a Zalman heatsink… hopefully it’ll keep things cool enough. Well, I was running with the fan off for like 3 days and my computer didn’t blow up, so this bigger heatsink should keep things pretty good. There’s enough circulation in my case to cool my entire room, I think it’ll be fine.
Anywhoo…. going out for dinner with my girlfriend… she always manages to cheer me up. :)
