HORROR!!! *sniff*
The most awful, horrible, terrible, suicide-inducing thing happened last night. Our drier died. Which in itself isn’t such a problem, however, it insisted on taking half my load of clothing with it in its death throes!!! Two of my favourite shirts, including my Kenshin shirt have now turned into rust-soiled, shredded rags… *sniff*. I’ll be traumatized for life!!!!
Now I really have to go shopping. Maybe I should bring along some female company as a fashion consultant. You think that would help me any, or am I beyond redemption? :)
In other news, we had some lectures on shaken babies (not stirred… har har. Ok, joke in poor taste) today. It’s appalling how oblivious some parents are to their children’s needs and dangers. Well, no matter what they show us now, I’m sure it won’t prepare us for what’s REALLY out there. :)
Ok, heading off to this Healthy Sexuality meeting today. It’s one of the only serious extra-curriculars I participate in, for sentimental reasons basically. The program has us visiting high schools and talking about safe sex etc. … I remember when I was in Grade 9 or 10 we had a couple of students come talk to us about it, so it’s just cool for me to be doing it for the next generation. :)
