Dancing in TB – Sun 6pm!

June 12, 2003 By: DancingSamurai Category: Events

That’s dancing *in* TB, not dancing *with* TB, which has an entirely different connotation for the acronym. I am of course talking about Thunder Bay, not the communicable disease. Anyway, there’s a great web site about dancing in Thunder Bay, put together by an amazing dancer, Wendy Huang. I googled for Swing in Thunder Bay and came up with her page, and an e-mail later she directed me to Scuttlebutt’s here in town. The Hot Rods were playing there, they played like 50s music… they’re an amazing band and the dancing was good. The crowd was a little bit on the old side for me, but workable. I’ll have to bring some friends and we’ll have to take over the place!! lol…

Anyway, I got to dance Lindy to a couple of rock songs, always fun! :) … and I found out that on Sunday, there’s another dance at the Finlandia Hall, at 6pm. So I’m trying to recruit as many people as possible, and maybe put together a CD to request some songs if they don’t have good Lindy music. If you’re in the area (ha, ha) drop by. It’ll be fun!!
