SARS Update
SARS is still basically shutting down Medschool at U of T. Well, for everyone except the first years, that is. Unlucky us. :)
Our lectures go on, but all clinical & community work has been cancelled. The bug is still spreading, apparently. Hopefully it’ll get under control soon. General statistics on SARS are available from the WHO. There’s also a neat medical article here. The surprising thing is, I can understand what they’re saying! :)
Well, good night, gotta get some zzzzss….
UPDATE 11:40 PM Changed “… statistics… is available” to are. Should’ve proofread it, eh? Ok, so I’m a grammar nazi. ’scuse me! (And I should be in bed now, you say? Well, how do you know I’m not? I have a remote control mouse you know… *g* ) G’night.

Also a good posting on The Morbidity and Mortality World Report (Dated March 28, one erratum since then) that describes a bit of the etiology and the epidemiology.
Only science nerds like us can appreciate it :)
